The habitable zone, or Goldilocks zone, can vary in size and position for different types of stars.
The TRAPPIST-1 system, for example, contains at least seven planets orbiting a red dwarf star much cooler and less massive than our Sun. The narrow habitable zone of TRAPPIST-1 is tightly packed around the dim star, especially as compared with the more spacious habitable zone of our own solar system.
