Grace introduces Rocky to the verb “fix” in 12.128.

In 02.120 it is used in the phrase “fixed their attention” (the only instance on the Earth timeline). In 17.136 it is used in the phrase “fixes its angle”.

We have omitted these two instances to focus here on uses in the sense of “repair”.

There is also the adjective “fixable” which we’ve also not considered here.

This leaves 22 occurrences: 19 of “fix”, 2 of “fixed”, and 1 of “fixing”.

Grace uses these forms 8 times as narrator and 6 times in direct speech.

Rocky only uses the form “fix” and uses it 8 times.
